Healthy No-Bake Chocolate Granola


My sister and I got creative over the weekend and made a healthy, chocolate pre-workout snack.  Yes, healthy and chocolate are in the same sentence!

I actually ended up eating this for breakfast on Sunday as well.. it’s just too good!

Here are our ingredients:

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon cacao power
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons PB2
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit


The oatmeal, virgin coconut oil, and raw honey are the base, and the rest of the ingredients are to add texture/taste.  The above measurements were just what we used this time.  You can add more/less as you prefer.

We mixed the coconut oil, raw honey, and cacao first to create our “chocolate”.

Next we added the granola, chia seeds, and flax seeds.

Lastly we added our dried fruit.  You can use whatever dried fruit you want!


Once it is all mixed together we let it sit in the fridge for a while.  As it gets colder, the coconut oil hardens giving it a texture that I prefer.  You can eat it however you’d like 🙂

So my sister and I had some difficulties coming up with names for our creation.  These were a few that made the list…

  • I’m hungry and this stuff looks like it’d taste good together fudge
  • Courtney’s Crazy Chocolatey Creation

We ended up settling on “Healthy, No-Bake Chocolate Granola”
