Total calories burned= 421! Calories burned were based on my weight, which is around 125. If you keep the same speeds as the chart above, you will run approximately 4.80 miles!
What I loved about this workout is that it kept me mentally engaged the whole time and did not allow me to become bored. During this workout the pace changes every 2-3 minutes, so you are constantly changing up what you are doing.
I found this workout to be challenging, so if you are not comfortable with the paces please change them to fit your current fitness level.
You will notice the abbreviation “RPE”. That stands for “Rate of Perceived Exertion”, or how much of a challenge or effort you a putting forth. The scale goes from 1-10, or sometimes you will see a scale from 7-20. For this workout, I have the RPE scale set at 1-10.
