I go to the doctor on Friday for my six week check-up, and I have every reason to believe that I will get the “okay” to start exercising again. I cannot wait.
I have been talking daily walks with Oliver to get in some very light exercise, but I cannot wait to step it up! We have the UPPAbaby Vista stroller and I am obsessed with it! I did a lot of research on strollers and tried a lot of different ones when creating my registry and this is the one that I was most impressed with. It folds up very easy and fits in the back of my vehicle perfectly. It is extremely smooth to push and the front wheels rotate 360 degrees so it is easy to navigate and turn. Actually, Morgan loves it more than I do if that’s possible.
We also have the UPPAbaby Mesa carseat which just clips into the stroller making it super easy to go from the car to stroller. I can clip the carseat so if he facing me or facing forward, another feature that I like. The stroller itself comes with a toddler seat and a bassinet, both are removable. Right now we just use the carseat for him since he is still so little.
Another great thing about this stroller is that if I have another baby I can use the toddler seat and the carseat at the same time (one of the major selling points for me).
Kelly and I took him to the Des Moines Farmers Market a couple weekends ago and it was wonderful. I was worried I would be “that annoying mom” with the big stroller, but it is not very wide and acts as a great shopping cart also!
So until Friday, I’ll just be strolling around the neighborhood twice a day!
My friend recently took newborn pictures of him, so here are just a few. She is a miracle worker
