I hope you all had a wonderful, merry, merry Christmas! I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family in Burlington, and of course got some running in.
I started off my Christmas Eve morning with an episode of Revenge (yes, my newest Netflix binge) and then went for a 5 mile run. It was cold and windy, but it was still nicer than running on my treadmill.
I did an easy run and averaged 8:40 a mile. I did some stretching when I got back home but that was it. I was too excited to get to my Grandmas to take time to do any core or weightlifting!
Morgan got these Biospheres for his friends and I think I need one for my classroom! They each have 4 tiny shrimp in them at are just adorable!
Morgan found this at my Grandmas and was easily entertained.
My brothers are so cute.
How cute is my Grandma?!
My aunt and my brother 🙂
I had a rare moment and took some selfies.
We played Cards Against Humanity. So funny, yet so inappropriate!
On Christmas morning my brothers practiced trap shooting outside.. yes it was freezing.
On Christmas morning we all go back to my Grandmas to open presents and hang out, and eat of course.
My brother is getting too big to sit on my lap. Yes, he was also drinking out of a sippy cup. Weirdo.
I spent the rest of my day hanging out with family, and yes, eating.
I got some cute dresses for my trip to Paris this summer, running stuff of course ;), and a bunch of other wonderful things.
One of my favorite things about Christmas is giving gifts to other. I love seeing my family and friends opening gifts!
Again, I hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family!
I’m going out for a run later and plan on doing some speed word and weightlifting. I’ll keep you posted 🙂
