Butter in your coffee?

It is no secret that I love coffee. Like really, really love it. However I was reading an article on Runner’s World about adding butter to coffee and I don’t know how I feel about that..

I would try to coconut oil only because I love coconuts.

I hit my snooze about 10 times this morning, so therefore I did not get my morning workout in. I didn’t feel bad about it because I knew I would have time to workout this evening.

Morgan has been playing basketball at our local community college weekly with friends so I tagged along and ran on the track while they played. I ran 5 miles and then went to the weight room to do legs.

I only got in two sets of squats and one set of lunges and had to stop because my muscles were on fire. I increased my weights, but I still felt pretty wimpy having to stop so soon.

After the gym we got some Pita Pit for dinner and got home around 8:30. I always feel guilty when I get home late because Charlie is home alone. I’m sure he is fine and sleeps while we are gone.

Charlie is not at all interested in Morgan’s game.

And the most important thing today… it is my soul sister’s birthday! Happiest of birthdays to one of the loves of my life, my best friend Kelly! We have been best friends since the day we met in August of 2006. I love you madly and am so happy to have you in my life!

The picture on the left was taken while we were shopping for her wedding dress in Chicago this past August 🙂 The other three pictures are from 2006-2008 when we were little and attended Iowa.
