I spent this weekend in Burlington visiting my family and doing a little Christmas shopping.
On Friday my brothers and I went to get some frozen yogurt and drive around looking at Christmas lights. We love driving around looking at Christmas lights and signing to Christmas music. As for the frozen yogurt, not sure… I just had a craving.
I love chocolate/caramel/coffee flavors. I had put a nice helping of Nutella on top which was a great decision.
My brother insisted I wear this headband Friday night.
On Saturday my aunt and I went shopping downtown Burlington. There are tons of cute little shops and I love to shop local so it was perfect.
We stopped at the Drake to meet a friend for lunch. I haven’t been to this place since my wedding rehearsal dinner and forgot how good it is.
I LOVE books, and my aunt got me this really neat book. I went to the University of Iowa, so maybe it is because I am biased, but I love Iowa City. I also LOVE history, so it is a great combination.
The weather was oddly awesome this weekend so it made running outside awesome. 61 degrees in December?! I’ll take it.
I just ran 5 miles this morning, mainly because I was really hungry and wanted to get back to eat breakfast. I just put up a post on stability balls, so check that out and incorporate it into your routine!
Have a great Sunday! I am going to finish my night doing a little more Europe summer vacation planning!
