She announced her fall marathon a few weeks ago and she chose NYC over Chicago, so naturally I was heartbroken.

The second piece of random information I’ll leave you with is the coolest thing I have seen yet in regards to races! I’m not sure if this is just a Chicago thing, but it is awesome. The Course Connector allows you to input your predicted pace, and will then tell your family when you are predicted to be at certain spot throughout the course.
Here is what my prediction looks like:
