If you have successfully trained for and ran a 5k, running a 10k is in your near future (well, that is if you want to run a 10k!).
It has officially been a week since the Chicago Marathon, which means one week of no exercise. I have to admit, I have enjoyed the extra free time I’ve had this past week!
Even if you are not thirsty make sure to stop at ALL water stations. Something I have learned from my past marathons is to hydrate whenever possible.
After a crossing the finish line I am physically exhausted and in some pain. My first thought is “when can I sit down?”
Every runner experiences good and bad races. For me, the Chicago Marathon was a beautiful race, but I was not happy with my time.
There are essentially two days left until the Chicago Marathon! I am 85% excited and 15% anxious.
